1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Roniko ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. These terms apply to all users of Roniko.

2 Description of Service

Roniko is an iOS application that converts speech to text using on-device machine learning. The App provides the following features:

• Real-time voice recording and transcription
• Audio file import and transcription
• YouTube and URL audio transcription
• Transcript storage, export, and sharing
• 99-language support with automatic detection

3 Subscriptions

Roniko offers a free tier with usage limits and a Pro subscription with unlimited access. Subscription details:

• Roniko Pro Monthly: $0.99/month, billed monthly
• Roniko Pro Yearly: $5.99/year, billed annually
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• You may manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law

4 Acceptable Use

You agree to use Roniko only for lawful purposes. You must not use the App to:

• Record or transcribe conversations without the knowledge and consent of all parties, where required by applicable law
• Violate any local, national, or international law or regulation
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Roniko complies with all applicable laws, including laws regarding recording consent in your jurisdiction.

5 Intellectual Property

Roniko and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Content you create using Roniko — including your transcripts and recordings — remains yours. We claim no ownership over your content.

6 Disclaimer of Warranties

Roniko is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate
• Transcription will be 100% accurate for all accents, languages, or audio qualities
• The App will be compatible with all iOS devices or future iOS versions

7 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Roniko, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or errors in transcription.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the three months preceding the claim.

8 Third-Party Services

Roniko integrates with third-party services including Apple App Store, Firebase (Google), and WhisperKit. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.

9 Updates and Changes

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue Roniko at any time, with or without notice. We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

10 Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Roniko shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration.
